You Are God's Best Idea is not your typical `if life gives you lemons, make lemonade' motivational book. Doug writes from his heart with very heartwarming stories from his life that allows you to look inside your life and see that you can do or be whatever you want to be...you are loved and you are never alone. Doug's epigrams are awesome...some obvious and some make you think, but all lead you on the path of understanding that You Are God's Best Idea! Do yourself a favor and read this book. I have not only read it myself, but have given it as gifts on many occasions.

This book is life changing. From the very beginning of the book, you're given small pieces of tremendous spiritual importance in short chapters. If you have ADD as I do, this book is written in a way that you will actually be able to read it cover to cover! The change it causes is immediate, and profound. You don't have to try to remember anything. You just do, and it builds a foundation. You will witness yourself, for the first time, actually seeing and understanding what is not in your best interest and holding you back. I must have over a hundred or so self help books, cd's and dvd's. This is one of the very few that are worth their weight in gold. This is THE book of alchemical transformation, which you will experience. Everyone I know will be getting one of these for the holidays. I couldn't think of ANYTHING else that would make a more meaningful gift.
